I alternate my weekly images using those backup software apps. It is a very sophisticated backup application, more than most "basic" users need. ETBH has a much simpler interface and they also offer lifetime version upgrades at a very reasonable cost. As a result, for most of my local clients, I normally recommend ETBH. MRHE does charge for version updates, but the price is reasonable and version updates only occur around every two years or so. Apparently the business version includes free version updates. I can't speak to Acronis pricing, or its speed. I can tell you that I am impressed most with MRHE, but I do consider ETBH to be an excellent choice for backup imaging for "average" users.ĭISCLAIMER: I have no affiliation with either ETBH or MRHE, other than as a paid user of their excellent software products, and my views should not be interpreted to reflect the views of Bleeping Computer or any of its members. That was an interesting read and yes, I've looked at Easeus Todo Backup Home along with a number of other solutions and in the end, I was only swayed towards MRHE because I found the User Interface (UI) to be the closest to my liking. I really didn't notice any major differences between ETBH and MRHE capabilities. I sure have changed my mind about recommending Acronis True Image to clients now though.
